Ek hatheli aadhi dastak jism pe mere dekar tum
Onghti shab ki tanhai mein mujh ko roz jagati thhi
Baahon ke dar khulte thhey aur lekar apna chaand badan
Pyaas ke soone kamre mein tum chupke se aa jaati thhi

Khamoshi ke saaye mein hum aawaazon se darte thhe
Jism pe ungli se likh likh kar saari baatein karte thhe
Aahat sun kar door hawa ki tum kaisa ghabrati thhi
Pyaas ke soone kamre mein jab chupke se aa jaati thhi

Aarzuon ke band dareechey milke khola karte thhey
Lub ke taraazu par hum apni saanse tola karte thhey
Aur nazar ke mil jaane par tum kitna sharmaati thhi
Pyaas ke soone kamre mein jab chupke se aa jaati thhi

Raat badalti karwat jab thhi waqt tahar saa jaata thha
Chaand dhamak ke khidki se phir kaandhey par aa jaata thha
Odh ke mujhko chaadar si tum khud bhi to bichh jaati thhi
Pyaas ke soone kamre mein jab chupke se aa jaati thhi

Aaj wohi shab phir se tumko mere badan tak laayee hai
Apni hatheli rok lo ab ke milne mein ruswaai hai
Mere badan par ab har dastak zaaya hone waali hai
Mujhko guzre muddat beeti, ab yeh kamra khaali hai!!!

What is life?
Why are we living…?
To live and die eventually?
Or, to die and live on…?

I will prefer to die and live on!!!
